After freelancing for more then 10 years meanly in
Berlin with SashaWaltz&Guests
Maya encountered herself in the sweet region of Thüringen for a production with Tanztheater Erfurt. Since then, Weimar
is her new home. She is trying to support the freelance
scene and expand her network. She had the chance to
create and present her own projects in collaboration
with the theaters of the region.
In addition, the passion for transmitting her knowledge was awakened. In 2020, she began developing an approach inspired by the somatic Feldenkrais practice, the pelvic floor training and the meditation practice. She regularly offers workshops of this method, with the aim of awakening the body awareness
and the exploration of movement.
